Thailand Travel Cost Calculator is operated by Meyer Digital.

The cost calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your nights, party size, children’s ages, dates, destinations and nationality are used to do arithmetic on your own device and are never transmitted to us. There is no account to create, no email to hand over, and no server-side processing of anything you enter — because there is no server involved in the calculation at all.

What we do not collect

Most privacy policies begin with a list of what a site takes. Ours is a list of what it does not:

  • No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
  • No email capture. No newsletter, no gated download, no exit popup asking for an address.
  • No contact form. If you want to reach us you email us directly, and then we have your address because you sent it, not because a form harvested it.
  • No trip data on our side. Nothing you enter into the calculator reaches us, so there is no database of anyone’s travel plans to leak, sell, subpoena or lose.
  • No advertising, no tracking pixels, no cross-site identifiers. Nothing on this site follows you to another one.

This is an architectural choice, not a policy promise. The estimate is computed by JavaScript running on your machine against a static dataset we ship with the page. There is no request we could log even if we wanted to, because there is no request.

Where your inputs actually live

Two places, both on your own device:

  • Your browser’s local storage, under a single key (ttc.estimate.v1), so that returning to the page does not make you re-enter everything. It stays on your device and is readable only by this site in this browser.
  • The web address in your bar. As you change inputs we rewrite the URL to match, which is what makes an estimate shareable. Rewriting the address does not send anything anywhere — the page is not reloaded and no request is made.

Pressing Reset on the calculator deletes the stored estimate and clears the parameters from the address. Clearing site data in your browser settings does the same thing. Neither action requires asking us, because we hold no copy.

One honest caveat about sharing an estimate

“Copy link to this estimate” puts your inputs into the web address — the number of nights, adults, children’s ages, travel style, month, cities and, if you entered it, your nationality. While the link sits in your clipboard nothing has been transmitted. But the moment anyone opens that link, the address is sent to our host as part of the ordinary request for the page, the same way any URL is. So a shared estimate is visible to whoever you send it to, and its parameters can appear in routine server logs.

Those parameters describe a trip, not a person: there is no name, no email, no device identifier and nothing tying them back to you. Still, it is the one place where inputs leave the browser, so we would rather state it plainly than let “nothing is transmitted” do more work than it deserves. If you would prefer not to share it, do not use the share button — the calculator works identically without it.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. That is also why you were not made to dismiss a consent banner on arrival: we have nothing to ask consent for. Local storage, described above, is not a cookie and is never sent with a request.

Analytics

We want to know which pages get read. We do not want to know who read them, and we are not willing to buy that knowledge with your privacy — so we bind ourselves to a constraint: any analytics on this site will be aggregate and cookieless. Counts of page views and referrers, with no cookie, no persistent identifier, no cross-site profile, no behavioural advertising and nothing sold or shared onward. If a measurement tool cannot work under that constraint, we do not use it.

At the time of writing no analytics is running on this site at all.

Third parties and hosting

Nothing on this page is loaded from a third party. The fonts are self-hosted, so there is no request to Google Fonts; there is no tag manager, no ad network, no embedded video, no social widget and no chat bubble. What your browser downloads to render this page comes from this domain and nowhere else.

The site is a set of static files served from Cloudflare’s network. Like any web host, it processes the technical details inherent in delivering a page — your IP address, the URL requested, your browser’s user-agent string — and keeps short-lived operational logs for security and abuse prevention. We do not build profiles from that, and it is the full extent of what any part of this operation sees about a visit.

Your rights, and why there is little to exercise them against

Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and comparable laws you have rights to access, correct, delete and port the personal data a site holds about you, and to object to its processing. We answer those requests honestly and the answer is usually short: we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to send, correct or erase. The data you care about is the estimate on your own device, and you can delete it yourself in one click. We have never sold personal information and have none to sell.

If you believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will tell you what we find, including if the answer is nothing.

If this ever changes

If we ever add a paid service, it will be a separate, clearly marked step with its own terms, and this page will change before it launches.
